Hertz or HZ
The international unit for measuring frequency. One megahertz (MHz) is one-million Hertz. One gigahertz (GHz) is one-billion Hertz.

HotSpot
A place where you can access Wi-Fi service.

Home Coverage Area
A designated area with-in which wireless calls are local and do not incur roaming or long distance charges.

HotSync®
Another term for the process of synchronizing a PDA with a PC. HotSync is a registered trademark of Palm, Inc.

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language)
A system of tagging ASCII information enabling it to be interpreted by a hypertext viewer or browser (such as Internet Explorer or Netscape). The file is stored as a cryptic mixture of control codes and text that are interpreted by the program and shown as a formatted page.
